Simple Screening test for Macular Degeneration
To test yourself look at the Amsler Grid below at eye level with the monitorabout one foot away. If you normally wear corrective lenses then keep them
on. Covering one eye at a time look at the center dot on the grid. Do you see
all the lines around it? Are the lines straight? Are there any blank spots? See the
diagrams below the grid to see what abnormal results are like. If you have a
problem then let you opthamologist see you for an exam.
